KINSTON, North Carolina (March 12, 2013) – Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day Weekend in style at the FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) in Wellington, Florida. Horseware® Ireland is sponsoring Week 10 of WEF, culminating in a competitive $82,000 3* Grand Prix on Saturday, March 16th and a St. Patrick’s Day Bash on Sunday, March 17th.

Horseware has provided over 1300 blankets for the winners of all the classes throughout the 12 weeks of WEF. They also sponsor the Don Little Masters Division amateur jumpers class for riders over 50 years old.

The partnership with WEF has been fundamental in reinforcing the Horseware brand as a leader within the industry. They will even launch a new TV ad at WEF on Wednesday, March 13th. The TV ad can be viewed prior to the WEF launch on YouTube at the following linkhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kI_-ALE1Ss.

Tom MacGuinness, MD of Horseware says: “We are delighted to be sponsoring WEF 2013, the world’s largest and longest running equestrian festival, with the world’s best riders in attendance. It’s a great fit with the Horseware brand and is an excellent platform to launch our new TV commercial.”

Horseware offered a chance for one lucky winner and friend to visit WEF this Saturday, March 16th, for an exclusive stable tour with Laura Kraut, followed by a VIP dinner during the Grand Prix with the Horseware team. Winner, Dawn S., said “I am absolutely thrilled to be given an opportunity to immerse myself in everything equine at the World Equestrian Festival, and to be able to share it with someone whom will also deeply appreciate the experience makes us both giddy with excitement. I am extremely grateful to Horseware Ireland and Dover Saddlery for this experience and promise to enjoy every single minute for everything it is worth!”

Horseware is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day “Build a New School” Bash on Sunday, March 17th, to benefit the Just World International “Build a New School” project in Cambodia. This Bash will feature a barbeque, music and a celebrity charity polo match. The charity polo match will be hosted by the Polo West Cantina in Wellington, Florida.

Francis Boulle, star of British reality TV series Made in Chelsea, will team up with Irish show jumpers Cian O’Connor, Kevin Babington and Andrew Bourns; Swedish show jumper Daniel Zetterman; and Horseware’s very own Tom MacGuinness. Together they will compete for the glory alongside professional polo players at the charity polo match.

Tickets for the St. Patrick’s Day polo match cost $75 in advance, and $100 at the door. For more information or to purchase tickets, please call (561) 333.9391 or e-mail jwinfo@justworldinternational.org.
